How a round goes
A round is a fight in one arena. You run, jump and hit, and the arenas have traps that hurt anyone who stands in the wrong place, including your opponent.
Weapons turn up during the fight. Poki mentions axes and guns, and even a candy, and each changes how close you need to be. On top of that, every fighter has a skill on its own key and a super move for bigger moments.
You can fight alone, challenge a friend at the same computer, or play online. In the local two-player mode the keyboard is split: one player on WASD, the other on the arrow keys.

Things we learned early
Learn where the traps are in an arena before chasing your opponent into them.
Holding jump gives you height; use it to get out of a corner rather than to attack.
Save the super move for when your opponent is close and cannot jump away.
Pick up a weapon early, even a weak one. Fighting empty-handed against a weapon rarely works.
Who will enjoy it
Friends sharing one keyboard for quick duels, and solo players who like short, chaotic fights.
The catches
It is fighting throughout, with weapons, though in a cartoon stick-figure style.
Two players on one small laptop keyboard is cramped.
