- Older kids and up: slapstick traps
Poki listing: released July 2025, last updated January 2026.
How a round goes
Plonky does not move neatly. The hero is a ragdoll, so every step and landing wobbles, and part of the challenge is getting a character this floppy to go where you want.
Each level is a route to a finish line through traps: spinning saws, explosives, crushers and spikes. Touching them sends Plonky flying, often in a way that is funny to watch, and you try again.
Not everything is a hazard. You push and pull carts and blocks, flip switches and swing on ropes, and many levels expect you to use one of these to get across a gap or past a trap.
Which keys do what
A / D or left / right arrow
W, up arrow or Space
S or down arrow
Things we learned early
Let Plonky settle after landing before the next jump. Jumping mid-wobble sends it off course.
When a level has a cart or block, assume it is there for a reason and try moving it first.
Swing on ropes a couple of times to build momentum before letting go.
Watch a moving trap through one full cycle before you commit to passing it.
Who will enjoy it
Players who enjoy trial and error, slapstick physics and a game that makes failing entertaining.
The catches
The floppy movement is the point, but it can frustrate anyone who wants precise control.
Some traps need several attempts, which not everyone enjoys.
